Business Development Specialist

Job Description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the agency’s client base.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential target clients.
  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies, including marketing directors, C-level executives, and agency partners.
  • Collaborate with the agency’s internal teams to develop tailored proposals, presentations, and solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
  • Support sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing innovations to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the agency’s services and establish a brand presence.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities to the management team.
  • Continuously foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the business development team.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and channels such as social media, content marketing, SEO, PPC (Pay-Per-Click), email marketing, and analytics.
  • Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
