Business Development Specialist
Job Description
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the agency’s client base.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential target clients.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target companies, including marketing directors, C-level executives, and agency partners.
- Collaborate with the agency’s internal teams to develop tailored proposals, presentations, and solutions that align with client needs and objectives.
- Support sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing innovations to provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the agency’s services and establish a brand presence.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities to the management team.
- Continuously foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the business development team.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and channels such as social media, content marketing, SEO, PPC (Pay-Per-Click), email marketing, and analytics.
- Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
